Advancing Pump Technology: Inside the Tucson Lab

Before any Tucson pump reaches a shelf or a site, it’s tested, pushed, and proven in our in-house lab. This isn’t just quality control, it’s where ideas become real, data-driven products built for long-term reliability.

Our lab gives us full control of every stage of product development: from early design validation to long-term endurance testing. Having this capability in-house means faster feedback, better accuracy, and complete confidence in what we put our name on.

Why We Test & What That Means For You

When a pump is installed in a home, a housing development, or a commercial building, it needs to perform exactly as promised, day after day. That’s why every Tucson pump goes through testing that replicates real-world use, not just ideal lab conditions.

Our goal is simple: to make sure every pump that carries the Tucson name is quiet, efficient, durable, and easy to install.

How We Test Our Pumps

Performance
Noise & Vibration
Durable
Temperature Testing

Performance

Flow, pressure & efficiency tests ensure consistent output even under fluctuating mains pressure.

Noise & Vibration

We carry out echo chamber testing & decibel benchmarking to minimise sound output.

Endurance & Durability

10,000 continuous on/off cycles, equivalent to 7 years of real use.

Temperature Testing

Pumps are subjected to temperature highs/lows, pressure spikes, & supply interruptions.

After lab validation, pumps complete the NPD process by undergoing in-field testing in real homes, ensuring our pumps perform consistently under actual installation conditions.
